So that stopped "gwerdnaG" from doing it, right? It stopped a couple thousand script kiddies from trying, right?
I'm not buying that excuse as easily as most would, especially given the cred and status that the successful cracker would instantly get for pulling it off on a Mac box.
That aside, this little test did prove that in day-to-day user traffic, OSX held up. Joe User on his MacBook Pro isn't going to be a target for 0-day attacks until/unless someone decides to go out and get a harvest of bots... something not as easy to do in an OS which, despite Apple's kludges, still has enough permissions compartmentalization to require a much higher skill level.
