I was a victim of caller ID spoofing. My ex-wife was able to obtain a PPO against me and then tried to have the PPO violated by spoofing her own caller ID. It cost me $8000 in legal fees to prove that I didn't make the calls. THe only thing that saved me was my own phone bill because it shows that I made no outgoing calls to her number even though her bills shows calls coming into her phone. ITs a big problem and needs to be outlawed.
