Resize Why ?

I found some interesting bug (?) while designing a tableless design .Try your self!!!!
1. design a simple .html page with no content
2. add onresize="alert('unintentionsal resize');" in body tag and save the file
3. now open the page in IE7
4. open new tab and enter any URL
5. come back to previous tab you will see an alert
Is this a bug or ??????
this gives you headache when your design a tableless css . Can anyone suggest how to fix this ?
