I think their analysis is a little simplistic. MyWife had a whole lot of publicity, which meant that people took it seriously and were looking for/eradicating it. This P2P bug hasn't had nearly the publicity, and people may not be willing to admit publicly they were infected (sort of like someone admitting they sent $2,000 to the nice man from Nigeria.)
