It wouldn't be the first time they shot the messenger. Witness what happened to Adrian Lamo after he contacted the gov and sent them his name.

"I went to a non-existent Web site with a longly-structured URL consisting of a sentence indicating that they had an open proxy, and giving my name and contact information," said Lamo.

Were the USC aware of his identity and are they cooperating with the prosecution so as to distract from the fact thet they didn't keep student data secure.

Some student lawyers should get together and sue the USC for breeching their privacy.

All is going on here is some a****** lawyer wanting to get mentioned in the press.
