As someone who spends a fair chunk of my free time playing a MMORPG (DAoC, not WoW) I'd like to say "Go Blizzard" for doing what needs to be done to stop people from cheating. As long as the Warden isn't doing anything except look for game hacking software this is a good thing.
Of course the devil is in the details...
Does it report anything to Blizzard? (It should never report anything to Blizzard)
Did Blizzard hide the Warden in the EULA or was it announced somewhere?
Keep in mind that these Games really are whole virtual worlds with their own economies. Cheaters in the game can be compared to counterfeiters. They need to be able to stop them or the whole game system will eventually collapse.
Blizzard is walking a very fine line with this though, and should probably release the Warden's source code to make it 100% clear what the Warden does and doesn't do.
