Software hack reveals online game maker's "spying" 2005-10-25

I'm running some gameservers for MMORPG by myself, and I can fairly tell you - if the developer is so unskilled to close the cheat ability on server side - send him away with his project. For example - beginning my Ultima Online free server in 1999, I understood that there's ALOT of cheats... An I gave my players who'll expose a cheat program and script good bounty in game... Next year and till now I've never gave a bounty, but not because of no bbounties remained... It's still actual - but there's NO cheats workin. Recently I've purchased non-pirated WoW copy, payed a month ahead and deceided to look - what it is. There's no need to cheat in that game - it's ODD. And, you can easily disable all the EXEcutable's except a client one by security policy.
