I understand that if it is not illegal it is not necessarily moral, however if the user consents then what exactly is the problem?

The cheating that is rampent in online gaming of all types is just down right annoying and in fact I have up on online gaming for that reason alone.

I have no problem with gaming companies writing software that that helps to detect this activity so long as the users are made aware and given details as to what and how the programs accomplishes it's task.

If you don't like it. Don't play.
