If you don't want Blizzard to know where you bank, or that you like goatporn, CLOSE THE F***ING WINDOW BEFORE YOU LAUNCH THE GAME.

The program's only active while the game's running. It's not a TSR. Blizzard wants to know what you have running in the background while you're playing, and if it's trying to modify the data your machine is sending to the WoW servers. Not your every move on the internet. And it reports it ONLY when it finds a questionable program, and ONLY to Blizzard.

I don't really consider that to be spyware.
