In San Antonio, Texas, an unstable sort fired off some inflammitory email to a local city council member. She got it, called the company complaining, and he was fired for violation of the company email policy. Shortly after, he committed suicide. While a lot of clueless idiots griped that he was fired, the policy has ALWAYS been that company email and computers can be monitored by the company at any time.
Duh.
