I had almost the same thought as I was reading the article. The mother could just as easily have sued the phone company for failing to block calls between the girl and her assailant. I mean, shouldn't they have known that this guy was up to no good? The mother seems to think MySpace should have known...

I have to say though that I think calling the daughter a whore is going too far. She's young and she's stupid but let's leave it at that.
