Businesses (and individuals) who are concerned with virus infections should look into encryption solutions. If an application can be used to encrypt sensitive documents, then even if a virus does enter your computer, it cannot touch the protected files. This allows for safe transmission of such files to a new, uninfected computer, without having to worry about the virus being a stowaway.

Such encryption also helps when sharing documents over email. These documents that might need to be emailed over to another computer can be sent without the recipient having to worry about downloading a virus along with the doc.

One software that could be used is Taceo.
