McAfee were always useless. The only reason they've survived this long is because they bought other companies. Otherwise they would have been dead since the day that DOS died.
And Symantec's programmers (namely Peter Ferrie) are always making jokes about malware programmers' lack of skills! But the malware programmers have adapted to work with Vista but Symantec cannot? What does that tell you about these idiots?
If McAfee and Symantec go under it will be a saving grace - we can all use software from decent companies like F-Secure and Anvira.
