We are all well aware that MS isn't well versed in writing good solid code with security in mind. (And don't talk to me about Vista, even MS admits they have plans to "start from scratch" with Vista's successor).
If you ain't happy, leave MS. But be prepared for that transition. At least minimise or reduce the use of MS solutions.
The more you reduce your reliance of MS solutions, the better it is, and the more choices you have.
