ssshhhhhhh! I too use this technique to avoid cd theft...errrr "borrowing" from friends or out of my car by using mp3s in car & home multimedia center. How great is it to use some fundamental know how to defeat a multi-million dollar corporate "Weapons" to limit end users ability to use items they purchased as they wish.
