Think about it. What do companies like Dell and HP install on systems they ship to customers? Crap loads of buggy dangerous software andd poorly written drivers ( think Broadcom wireless, Toshiba Bluetooth). MS has come leaps and bounds forward in security over the last couple of years. Their SDL is really a good best practice, and the folks speaking at this were absolutely top notch. I was there, and I came back to work and my massive computer maker with a much better security game plan than what I had 3 days prior.
