Law Enforcement can?t even keep track of all the physical addresses let alone keep the information on the current registries up to date and accurate. Now we?re going to add email addresses? Many times an offender isn?t the only one in the home using an IP address. So what? Now anyone sharing an IP address with an offender has to register their email?
Lovely, more money and resources tied up on another piece of ?feel good, do nothing? legislation. Has anyone stopped to question what these kids are doing trolling the internet with out supervision? Has anyone asked why the parents of these kids aren?t aware of who their children are talking to on the internet? So this proposed legislation is going to make it the responsibility tax payer to do a job the parents should be doing?
This country is going to hell and ?Protect the Children? is being used to grease the wheels on the roller skates that are taking us there.
