If he was upset about pay, he should have joined the effort at creating an IT Union. One man (at the bottom) won't change a company the size of UBS, very easily.

However, if every IT Person at the company walks out on the same day and no IT Firm will work with that company for fear of losing their own employees to a walk-out...

Then they have some power.
