I have seen the list of artists that have this rootkit on their cd's...but they have failed to list a few other artists that has rootkit on their cd's as well. To me that says that they are still lying and trying to trick consumers.

I would suggest running microsoft antispyware to see if you have the dreaded rootkit problem seeing as though no other program will pick up on it.

If you happen find out that u do have rootkit on your pc you can go to http://cp.sonybmg.com/xcp/english/updates.html to download the patch.

Im not sure how much help this will be. They need to find an uninstall for this if you ask me because it is completely unfair..espiecially for those who payed to hear thier favorite artist and couldnt wait to get home and listen to it on their pc's.
