Microsoft doesn't have a clue on how to design a proper and correct operating system and so it took them 5 years to release an almost proper and correct one (Windows Vista). Windows XP took them 2 years to release, and thus has 2.5 as much bugs as Windows Vista.
If they want to release an almost bug-free operating system, I (a super-duper guru) predict it will take them at least 10 to 20 years to do so.
