It's very interesting how there is never any mention of legitimate uses that "sex offenders" might have for "social networking sites" such as MySpace. Dread the thought that a "sex offender" has high school buddies or business affiliates! The assumption that "sex offender" equals "malicious baby rapist and violent child murderer" continues to show itself as nothing more than an elaborately constructed vehicle for fueling media ratings, Internet traffic, cashflow to law enforcement agencies, and most importantly, political points. Current laws are no different than trying to kill a patch of weeds by cutting the top half-inch off of each plant; when will something be done that kills the roots instead? It's like placing a tiny band-aid on a blood-spewing power tool injury!
