Microsoft warns of Macrovision attacks

A warning doesn't help the customer if it has
no substance. As far as I've read the advisory,
I can't see any details in regards with the
problem. How do we, as customers, protect ourselves against this 'limited' attack?
"Look out!" warns Microsoft.
"Look out for what?" replies the customer.
