Kudos sirs. Thank goodness the government has the sense to realize this isnt the colonial era and total privacy for all citizens to do whatever the heck they want to do just isnt safe, practical, or economical anymore.

I know someone is going to bemoan/warn of the rise of big brother but the population can abuse liberties just as well as the government can. A new balance between privacy and security has been needed for some time. There are a few other things I wouldnt mind seeing go in this direction.
