if people would use white-listed eMail security all this phishing and spamming would end abruptly
perhaps we need Federal Law requiring eMail providers to offer customers the option to white-list their accounts.

the only dis-advantage is that in order to receive eMail from someone you need to put their email address in your address book before they can send to you
of course you could always dig through your junk-mail folder and find the miossing message, promote it to your in-box and then promote the sender to your address list
