I wish to inform Dan and the rest of the readers that Iana is already underway with extensive testing of DNSSEC, Dan will agree that implementation of DNSSEC can be a daunting task that we should not go into unless we are 101% sure its fine, and the only way to do this is test, and test again.

For this and other reasons, iana has setup a testbed for DNSSEC that you can find at https://ns.iana.org/dnssec/status.htmlm

In the interim iana has setup a trust anchor for those who wish to secure their DNS zones as iana finalizes the formalities of full DNSSEC implementation.
