If the companies have the money to purchase expensive wireless gear, they should have the money to hire a professional services team to install it and configure it. If they don't want to pay to have someone put it in or at least advise and assist, they probably shouldn't be dipping their feet the WiFi waters just yet. If your C-levels want wireless just so they can walk around and still be connected, purchase a good VPN concentrator and a 3G wireless card for their laptop. Yes, you'll have a mobile phone contract to pay for every month, but the security will be many magnitudes better than an insecure 802.11 network.
