Pre- Sales Engineer South East Region We are currently searching for a Pre-Sales Engineer to support our client's family of Information Security products and services in their South East region. Candidates located in Atlanta, GA are preferred. However, High performance, Low Maintenance candidates in any of the following states GA, AL, TN are acceptable. The Pre-Sales Engineer (PSE) is responsible for new business and account retention of clients in an assigned territory, developing and expanding existing client relationships, identifying additional revenue opportunities within those clients, and working closely with the Regional Sales Staff and Management on those clients. The PSE is responsible for being familiar with our client suite of products, as well as competing and complementary products, and functioning as a Technical Subject Matter Expert in support of regional sales efforts. Responsibilities Include: Leveraging relationships within organizations to solve technical challenges and foster awareness and sales of our products, solutions, and services Performing scope calls (gathering requirements for inclusion in service proposals) Working with the Inside and Outside Sales Representatives on joint account calls, webinars and account planning Installing, configuring and testing our solution at customer's facilities during Proof of Concepts Interfacing with various customers at both a business and a technical level and propose viable solutions in real time during customer meetings Document and share knowledge and best practices with the Team to advance the sales of our products and technologies Assisting with the training and development of our channel partners. This may include conducting joint account calls, updating their technical staff on new products and features, and working with them to develop solutions for customers Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues and products Making hardware recommendations to clients Maintaining industry/market expertise Proven ability to craft a solution and develop RFI responses with appropriate products and services based on client discussions Proven ability to engage with CIO and all levels of client contacts to propose, present and discuss technical solution Complete meaningful Status Reports to inform management of the status of Evaluations, POCs, and your on-going sales efforts Input sales related activities into CRM or SFA systems (knowledge of Siebel, Salesforce.com or SalesLogix preferred) |

Skills Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred CISSP, MCP, MCSE, and/or Security+ highly desired 4-6 years of Pre-Sales Engineer experience especially in the security industry Demonstrated consistent quota achievement Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong demonstrated customer interfacing experience and skills - has worked in sales or consulting field, personable, high energy, engaging, polite Ability to work within a fast paced and growing sales environment Minimum of 5 years experience in a Software Vendor, Sales, Professional Services, IT consulting or Systems Integration Sales Training Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills Professional presentation skills Oral and written comprehension; the abilities to listen to an understand information and ideas presented and communicate that information clearly so others will understand Self-starter that manages time and activities with little day-to-day guidance or interaction from management Excellent listening skills resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction. Must be able to listen for opportunities as well as potential technical hurdles Technical Requirements: Windows up to 2008 AD, Domains, GPOs Networking, DNS resolutions, TCP/IP traffic, Ports, protocols, router and firewall knowledge SQL, IIS Registry modifications Unix Sun, RedHat, IBM AIX, HP-UX, Apple Mac VBScripting Vulnerability Scanning Nessus, Qualys, PatchLink Scan Patch Management End Point protection Data Loss prevention Device and Application control Disk Encryption Desired Skills: MCP, MCSE, CISSP, and/or Security+ Detailed knowledge of the several of the following: Change and Configuration management Firewalls and proxy servers High-availability solutions (clustering, SAN, NAS, iSCSI.)
