Job Description: Senior SUN IDM Engineer/Architect/Developer will provide architecture, design and implementation expertise of Sun Identity Management products on an enterprise scale. The position is responsible for designing, customization, and implementing Identity Management solutions at an enterprise level, using the Sun Identity Manager suite of products. Responsible for developing enterprise-level integrated solutions for legacy and modernized systems. Support development leadership to all system engineers, software engineers, system integrators and testers to deliver complete solutions based upon client requirements. It will require technical experience and guidance through a complex system development life cycle. Will provide architecture, design and implementation expertise of Identity Management products on an enterprise scale.

Candidate requires an understanding of requirements management and traceability and a familiarity with Identity Management implementations on MS Windows. The candidate must have ability and willingness to work in team environment with preferred experience as a technical team lead in a fortune 500 company.

Job Description:

Maintenance

1. Maintaining IdM System configuration, including Policies, Services, Reports, and Lifecycle Rules

2. Maintaining connectors and resource adapters to managed resources

3. Implementing IdM System upgrades and applying security patches

Enhancement/Customization

1. Configuring and maintaining the IdM System components

2. Proposing IdM System enhancement and/or integration designs for review

3. Supporting ID Service Planning by testing of IdM System enhancements and integrating with managed platforms and applications, resolving technical issues as appropriate

4. Developing adapters and workflows; these workflows define the provisioning, modifying, and deleting of users and closely maps to the corporate processes for these functions

5. Assessing requirements from various internal groups and advising on improvement, reengineering, etc, before implementing them in the IdM solution

Support

1.Providing IdM System user and technical support and coordination for resolving identified issues

2.Resolving technical issues encountered in IdM System operations, including integration connectors to managed resources

3.Supporting bulk user loads for processing large scale user adds, modifications, and/or revocations

4.Monitoring IdM System alerts and error conditions

5.Managing configuration and ongoing support

Security

1.Assisting IT Auditors in periodic vulnerability assessments the IdM System

2.Ensuring that IdM security mechanisms in place are adequate and functioning properly

3.Enforcing IdM System policies, procedures, and configuration standards

4.Monitoring the IdM System infrastructure for potential security vulnerabilities and taking appropriate resolution steps

5.Reviewing audit trails for unauthorized access attempts and reporting anomalies
Job Requirements: Job Requirements:

• Must have BS with 10 years of experience or Masters with 8 years or equivalent years of work experience.

Sun Identity Manager 7.1 – Expert 5+ years

1. Extensive knowledge of SUN Identity Management Suite.

2. Possesses skills to oversee and troubleshoot the IdM implementations on a daily basis.

3. Strong understanding of IdM implementation.

4.Monitors IdM audit data regularly for security and policy violations.

5. Familiarity with managed resources and their respective APIs (required for adapter development)

• MS SQL server – 5+ years

• Websphere – 5+ years

• J2EE Skills - 3+ years experience

• HTML - 3+ years experience

• JavaScript – 3+ years experience

• Active Directory

• Lotus Notes Identity management

• 5+ years of Network and System Architecture and Internet Technologies experience

• Object-oriented design and methodology

• Strong Configuration Management skills

• Excellent requirements gathering and documentation skills

• Understanding of requirements management and traceability

• Strong communication skills

• Ability and willingness to work in a team environment

• Experience with Citrix Password Manager is a plus

• Experience in Fortune 500 company a plus
