Information Security Analyst www.informationsecuritysolutions.com/jobs/ref458 Reference No. SF-458 Company Financial Location Cambridge Salary £40,000 - £60,000 Package Comes with a benefits package Start Date ASAP No. Required 1 The Role Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following: • Prepare, update, implement and monitor compliance with information security policies, procedures, architectures and standards; • Provide hands-on technical information security consulting services to cross functional business teams; • Provide technical assistance with the set-up and deployment of systems that support information security including virus detection systems, firewall content filtering systems, intrusion detection systems and software license management systems; • Assist in reviewing/redesigning internal processes and systems to ensure information confidentiality, integrity and availability; • Analyze commercially available information security products and services; • Perform and document information security risk analysis; • Create and/or review proposals to significantly enhance or modify the configuration or functionality of intranets, firewalls, servers, applications, databases, and other critical infrastructure; • Review a range of information security related logs for risks and vulnerabilities; • Perform manual and automated vulnerability identification on information systems. • Perform ongoing information risk assessments and audits to ensure that information systems are adequately protected and meet NT Services policy requirements. Mandatory Skills/Certifications • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; • 4-5 years of relevant information security experience; • Experience of working in financial services. • Knowledge of PCI DSS Compliance. • Knowledge of Data Protection Act. • Strong presentation skills. • Systems and network forensic experience: • UNIX and Linux server and desktop management experience: • CISSP certification is desired but not required: • Strong organizational and communications skills; • Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize and mange competing work assignments in a time sensitive environment. |
