SimIS, Inc, an 8(a) veteran-owned small business, seeks a qualified candidate to act as Certification and Accreditation business practice manager. The qualified candidate will: - Lead and participate in current C&A NIST efforts - Serve as the primary SimIS point of contact for our Federal government clients for C&A related activities - Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for all C&A tasks Typical tasks you will participate in: - Annual Continuous Monitoring (controls testing) - SSP development/auditing - reaccreditation of a previously certified and accredited system For this job, you must not solely be a manager - you must be a doer. For example, you WILL be very hands on, testing M&O controls in the course of a CM task, along with leading the overall task and team. This job can be part-time, full-time, or on a contract basis. We are picky - we are looking for the right person that will provide an excellent product to our Federal government client. |
| Job Requirements: |
Firm requirements: - U.S. citizen - 10+ years experience in Information Technology - 6-8 years experience in Information Security/Assurance - Complete knowledge of the NIST C&A cycle - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience in scoping C&A tasks - Experience in leading and performing all phases of C&A Nice to have: - other industry certs - knowledge and experience working with Department of Commerce, and NOAA - security testing skills |
