ASSOCIATE SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION: MANDIANT seeks information security Associates who are recent graduates with strong technical skills, solid educational background and performance, and sound written and verbal communication skills. The Associates will be responsible for working on technical Network & Application Security projects and Incident Response / Computer Forensic engagements for significant clients. The candidates must have the ability to communicate with clients; manage project timelines; follow methodologies; and create/present clear, concise deliverables. Based upon the nature of our client engagements, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. |

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conduct application testing, source code reviews, threat analysis, network penetration, wireless network assessments and social engineering - Provide training on Network & Application Security courses - Performs consulting tasks as required to meet MANDIANT needs REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: - Strong knowledge of tools used for Application Testing and Network Security - Capable of PERL scripting and shell code to automate common tasks - Thorough understanding of network protocols - Mastery of Unix and Windows operating systems - Penetration testing experience preferred - Experience developing applications in C#.NET or Java (J2EE) preferred OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS: - Ability to successfully interface with clients - Ability to document and explain technical details in a concise, understandable manner - Ability to provide training and public speaking and be comfortable in front of an audience - Capable of managing project tasks individually and as a team - Ability to travel to support company objectives - Current valid passport - Willing to undergo random drug screening EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: - B.S. or B.A. in a technical field required - U.S. Citizenship Required LOCATIONS: - Alexandria, VA - New York, NY - El Segundo, CA |
