BINARY ANALYSIS RESEARCHER SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION: MANDIANT was founded for the purpose of bringing together the most talented, passionate, and specialized expertise within the information security industry. MANDIANT is looking for a motivated, experienced, intelligent candidate to support an on-going federal services contract in central Maryland. This position provides the government with binary analysis and custom tool development. The position requires strong communication and networking skills. |

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Four or more years experience in software engineering, system security engineering, or software vulnerability assessment experience - Experience using/tuning binary or source code analysis tools such asFortify SCA, Klocwork Insight, GrammaTech CodeSonar, Ounce Labs Ounce, FindBugs, and Veracode - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to solve very difficult technical problems - US Government TS/SCI security clearance ADDITIONAL VALUED SKILLS: - Experience reverse engineering x86 binary machine code with tools such as IDA Pro and OllyDbg - Ability to document and present technical details in a concise, understandable manner - Ability to manage project tasks individually and as part of a team - Working knowledge of cryptography - Current US Government full scope polygraph EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: - B.S., B.A., or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline preferred |
