Reference No. (SF-279) Company Specialist Penetration Testing Organisation Location West Sussex Salary £20,000 - £40,000 Package Fantastic career development (training & mentoring) Start Date ASAP No. Required 1 The Role The role involves running structured security tests (both automated and manual) against Internet-facing systems and applications, analysing the results, writing reports which detail the findings and providing recommendations for improved security. Key Competencies Application programming skills, preferably in the web application arena. Strong inter-personal and communication skills. Report writing skills Good knowledge of IP networking protocols Some experience with security testing of web-based applications (desirable but not essential) Current UK driving licence (desirable but not essential) Additional Benefits Mentoring with one of the leading penetration testing teams in the UK is part of the job. Formal training courses are also provided as part of career advancement. Other info May suit MSc Information Security graduate, who is enthusiastic and interested in penetration testing. The ideal candidate may also have spent at least a year in an IT networking environment and have experience of network management tools or application testing tools. |
