Job Description: Business Resilience Consultant

Location: London

Salary: £40 - £75K

Contract Type: Permanent (London based with travel)

Role Description:

Business Resilience work is diverse and complex, assisting many sectors across key areas of policy, strategy and implementation of change. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver robust and integrated resilient business solutions that bring together people, process, systems and physical measures to ensure business resilience and security in a variety of operating environments. The role is based from London, working on client site during the week. You should hold an EU passport and be prepared to undergo a vetting process as part of your role in the firm if required
Job Requirements: Essential Experience:

• Willing to undergo security checking if required

• Extensive experience at board level of identifying, developing and implementing major strategic business transformation and a performance improvement programme across the entire spectrum of industry.

• Experience in leading teams, defining major programmes and mobilising projects, working alongside senior client staff and colleagues.

• Experience of working in large complex environments.

• Extensive experience of Business Resilience:

• Enterprise risk management business continuity.

• Crisis management

• Information Assurance and Security

• Process Control security

• Experience in a key role that influences, contributes to, and / or advises on the strategic direction taken for the resilience, security and business continuity of an organization.

• Deep knowledge of the business continuity lifecycle and how this is applied at a strategic level.

• Good understanding of the principles and practice of risk management.

• A broad practical security expertise extending beyond your own work area including awareness of Information Assurance and Security implications of business activities.

• Broad knowledge of technical security issues, understanding principal security issues of IS infrastructures and support services, and have developed requirements for security measures

• Impact : you've had a key role that influences, contributes to, or advises on the strategic direction taken on Security Governance of an organisation

• Contribution to development of new services in your organisation

• Strong interpersonal skills and commercial acumen to understand requirement and formulate and deliver solutions to client issues

• A robust intellectual approach with a good degree level education. Relevant professional qualifications ideal e.g. MBCI.

• MBA desirable but not essential, as is fluency in other languages

For more senior roles you'll need to have had:

• Leadership of substantial assignments (preferably with a large team) either from architecture inception to implementation, or involving significant improvement or transformation.

• Business winning responsibility alongside your implementation responsibility

Security Clearance: None required at start but may be required for specific tasks if so the Client would arrange this

Candidates must be able to attain UK Security Clearance.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
