FEW RECENT PROJECTS

Pcap Library

Avalanche doesn’t natively support all the protocols but it has a feature called Capture-Replay. Capture-

Replay provides ability to playback a flow captured on the network. In order to allow the customers to use

protocols like Citrix, Napster, Bittorrent, etc which are not natively supported by Avalanche, I created a

Pcap Library.

NAC Lab Deployment, Testing and Documentation:

Single handedly managed to deploy a lab to test Cisco NAC in its initial phase. I managed to deploy and

help developer to test the initial NAC implementation when the technology was not so well understood. I created training documents to train Sales and Product Verification team. Training documents include 80 pages presentation on 802.1x and NAC, 45 Pages document on Cisco ACS Server and Config files for Cisco DUT.

RFC 2544 like tests over IPSec Tunnel:

RFC 2544 specifies different test cases using variable frame size for testing networking devices. I created a automation project that tests the performance of the networking devices over IPSec tunnel. The tests generate results for different frame sizes which can be graphed using Avalanche Analyzer to analyze the performance of the networking device as the frame size varies.

128 Ports Triple Play test for HP

HP wanted to test their high port density switching modules using Spirent TestCenter. They had test case in which they wanted to send mixed layer 2-7 traffic to see the performance of their Switch. Our competitors already told them that they can’t do such a high port density test. I helped sales to configure Layer 4-7 Triple Play traffic on all 128 ports. Triple play traffic included HTTP, FTP, SIP and Multicast video. The test case was a cross mesh and took longtime to configure. We were able to demonstrate the test and win the HP account from our competitors.
