EXEMPT JOB DESCRIPTION Date: August 1, 2007 Page: 1 Job Title: AP Process Owner- Information Security Communication, Education, and Awareness Position Code: Pyramid: Legal Department: Assets Protection Pyramid/Dept. Approval: Operating Company: Target Date: August 1, 2007 PRIMARY FUNCTION Develops and implements comprehensive communication, education, and awareness strategies/plans in order to support the achievement of approved information security goals and objectives. Creates communication campaigns, educational materials, and seeks to raise the level of awareness team members have about information security and its importance to the company. Represents Assets Protection with internal and external partners in order to achieve information security objectives. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Drives the design, development and implementation of communication campaigns and plans. Develops education requirements and supporting materials for team members in partnership with Organizational Effectiveness. Develops methods of gauging level(s) of team members awareness specific to information security and seeks to develop/implement methods of raising the level of awareness across the company. Works closely with Internal Communications to use all available communication tools and channels across communication, education, and awareness efforts. Consults with other members of the Information Security team to assist in the development appropriate methods/vehicles of communication for broad information security needs (strategic planning formats, progress reports, etc.) Designs and produces periodic progress reports outlining progress against stated communication, education, or awareness objectives as articulated in the Information Security business plans. Gains support and content contributions for communication campaigns from partner pyramids and business units. Develops strong cross pyramid partnerships with representatives of the Information Security Working Council. Special projects as assigned by the Group Manager Information Security Planning and Metrics. This description is intended as a guide only. Establishes and maintains key relationships within Assets Protection, TTS IT Security, Internal Communication, Legal. May indirectly supervise and/or provide guidance to members of pyramid/business units assigned to provide ongoing metrics/progress reports to Information Security. JOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree 2-5 years Communications, Training, Information Security, or Project Management experience Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Excellent Organizational Skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet aggressive deadlines. Ability to think and work independently. Strong organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others. Attention to detail. Assertive and energetic.
