Trooper First Class Jon S. Nelson Experience: Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation - Computer Crime Unit COORDINATOR, Area I Computer Crime Task Force March 2000 to Present Manage the daily operations of 23 local, state and federal law enforcement members of the Task Force. The Task Force is responsible for investigating all facets of computer related crime in an 11 county area in South Central Pennsylvania. TRAINING COORDINATOR, Pennsylvania State Police February 2005 to May 2006 Analyzed educational needs of the Task Force. Evaluated potential training for Unit members and conducted research in to new investigative techniques. Developed and implemented an online Learning Management System (LMS) for all members of the Pennsylvania State Police Area Computer Crime Task Forces. Designed the LMS to collect and maintain records of each members training activities and certifications. Designed, documented and maintained the Standard Operating Procedure and Administrative regulations manual.
