(Page 1 of 1) Platform: Propietary Hardware Source Security Added 2007-01-15 sourcesec.com provides Web-based access to code auditing applications, and was created to assist developers and users in auditing their programs for vulnerabilities. You can upload your code for static analysis by RATS, Flawfinder and ITS4 as applicable - the C/C++, PHP Python and Perl languages are supported. Additionally, a simplified search function is available which easily allows efficient Web searches for security-related information. SafePasswd Added 2006-10-15 Generate safe, secure and memorable passwords quickly and easily. If a password isn't memorable it isn't used. Also visually displays how effective a password is. Free Random WEP/WPA-PSK online generator tool Added 2005-10-19 Create and customize random WEP/WPA-PSK Key with this online tool. Net-SNMP Added 2004-03-23 The NET-SNMP (formerly UCD-SNMP) package contains various tools relating to the Simple Network Management Protocol including an extensible agent, an SNMP library, tools to request or set information from SNMP agents, tools to generate and handle SNMP traps, a version of the unix 'netstat' command using SNMP and a Tk/perl mib browser. It was originally based on the Carnegie Mellon University SNMP implementation (version 2.1.2.1), but has been greatly enhanced, ported and fixed and barely resembles the original package anymore. mod_auth_cache Added 2002-03-26 mod_auth_cache transparently caches an authentication originally done by a different module. The aim of this module is to speed up complex authentication mechanisms, to reduce database traffic if authenticating thru a backend database, and to implement some sort of authentication reliability if the database server fails. As the caching is completely transparent (done by the webserver), you don't have to change or implement new functions in your existing applications. The module only caches a users authentication and not a users access permissions, which can still be controlled by a different module. UNF Distributed Portscanner (DScan) Added 2001-11-05 DScan is a portscanner that distributes the scan among dozens of hosts. The scanner consists of two parts. One part is the client, which initiates the scan and calculates the portrange each server has to operate on. The only thing the server does is scan and return the result to the client. Distributing the portscanning operation can make it harder for the target to detect the fact that a scan is being performed. Worm Report 1.2 Added 2001-10-22 Worm Report is a very simple Perl script to filter out the known worm hits from the access log, and put them into their own files named for the IP/Host that has been "wormed". A basic report containing the count, hostname, ip, and a guess at the parent domain is then printed to STDOUT to facilitate contacting these individuals. This script is useful in the short term to get the info to the people who need it. Adding a new worm requires adding a new worm hit string to the DATA section of the script, nothing so fancy (or exhaustive) as an Apache module. Browse by category |
