There is a solution from ce-infosys (i think thats the name)
they have one for linux and one for windows.

both free, and you can buy a mgmt console for large deployments.

I have used both of the versions. The windows one is pretty straight forward..
but DO backup your data first, its not flawless,
the linux one though takes some work. you have to make sure your
/boot is its own partition and it does not get encrypted.

play with it in vmware or something until you get the process down.
Thats what I did... it is only supported on suse and maybe redhat,

i got it to work on debian & ubuntu just with lots of work and aggravation.
