Fuji Electric V-Server VPR CVE-2018-5442 Stack Based Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Fuji Electric V-Server VPR is prone to a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability because it fails to properly bounds-check user-supplied input before copying it to an insufficiently sized memory buffer.

Attackers can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will likely cause a denial-of-service condition.

Fuji Electric V-Server VPR 4.0.1.0 and prior versions are vulnerable.
