VideoLAN VLC CVE-2019-12874 Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

VideoLAN VLC Media Player is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability.

An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code within the context of the user running the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.
VLC Media Player versions 3.x prior to 3.0.7 are vulnerable.
