IPUpdate Remote Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

IPUpdate is prone to a buffer overflow vulnerability.

A successful attack may cause heap memory corruption facilitating arbitrary code execution. Exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to the computer in the context of the application.

IPUpdate versions prior to 1.1.0 are affected by this issue.
