PunBB Multiple Input Validation Vulnerabilities
PunBB is prone to an HTML-injection vulnerability and a cross-site scripting vulnerability. These issues are due to a failure in the application to properly sanitize user-supplied input. Attacker-supplied HTML and script code would be executed in the context of the affected site, potentially allowing an attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials or to control how the site is rendered to the user. |
