Trend Micro Virusbuster 2001 Remote Command Execution Vulnerability
Versions of Tremd Micro Virusbuster 2001 can be forced to crash by a buffer overflow condition, which is triggered when the program receives an email containing exceptionally long strings in the MIME Boundary header field. The result of this overflow is a denial of service. Properly exploited, it could lead to the remote execution of arbitrary code on the affected host. |
