TYPO3 'indexed_search' Extension SQL Injection Vulnerability

TYPO3 is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data before using it in an SQL query.

Exploiting this issue could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

This issue affects versions prior to:

TYPO3 4.0.8 from the 3.x and 4.x branches
TYPO3 4.1.4 from the 4.1.x branch
