Microsoft Windows Media Player .NSC File Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Due to an unchecked buffer in the section of code in Window Media Player that handles .NSC files, remote attackers may be able to execute arbitrary code on victim hosts.

If a specially crafted .NSC file is accessed by a user, depending on the contents of the file, a denial of service attack could be launched or arbitrary code could be executed on the user's system.
