Linux Kernel 'drivers/net/niu.c' Local Denial of Service Vulnerability

The Linux kernel is prone to a local denial-of-service vulnerability because it fails to properly verify user-supplied data.

Attackers can exploit this issue to cause the kernel to crash, denying service to legitimate users. Given the nature of this issue, arbitrary code execution with elevated privileges may be possible but this has not been confirmed.
