Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird/SeaMonkey CVE-2013-1738 Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

Mozilla Firefox, SeaMonkey, and Thunderbird are prone to a remote-code-execution vulnerability due to a use-after-free error.

An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the user running the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.

Note: This issue was previously discussed in BID 62447 (Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird/SeaMonkey MFSA 2013-76 through -92 Multiple Vulnerabilities), but has been moved to its own record to better document it.

This issue is fixed in:

Firefox 24.0
Thunderbird 24.0
Seamonkey 2.21
