Multiple Vendor BIND Cache Poisoning Vulnerability
The problem exists due to the use of predictable ID's for communication between DNS service daemons. By predicting these ID's an attacker can insert rogue replies, resulting in 'cache poisoning' of the server. This can lead to incorrect hostname/IP mappings. |
