Microsoft ActiveX CAB File Execution Vulnerability
Solution: Microsoft has released a patch that eliminates this vulnerability by restricting the ActiveX control's ability to execute local unsigned CAB files. The patch is meant to support IE4.01 SP2 and higher. It will not work on IE 4.01 SP1 and lower, and Microsoft recommends upgrading to at least SP2 before applying this patch.
